In all, 96 classes took part and it was wonderful to see the originality, creativity and resourcefulness involved when creating the parcels. Guidelines for the activity restricted the parcel to 10 items or groups of items which could be made or bought. These items needed to represent either their class or their culture so photos, art work, icons, crafts, original writing and a local treat were often included.

Not only did the participating students enjoy creating their parcel for their partner class, they also took great delight in receiving a parcel too! Thus, the connection between SIS schools and to another culture have been strengthened.
