In March, SIS Winterthur had their annual Book week. The theme was “Read to Reel: Great Books to Great Movies”. Each day there was a different activity, including the popular Buddy Reading activity where older students read together alongside younger students. Ongoing events were a virtual book fair, book swap, and reading mileage challenge where students logged their reading hours. The fun-filled week concluded with a book character costume parade (virtual) and classroom movies accompanied with popcorn!
The SIS Cup 2021 will take place in a new, adjusted format on 20 and 21 May 2021. While we sadly cannot unite the 16 participating teams from different school locations physically, there are new technological possibilities that allow the event to take place simultaneously at each location. Preparation is under way and we are looking forward to a memorable event that will be different and therefore, all the more special!
